Glen Keane

I have just learned today that Glen Keane has left Disney after 37 years with the studio.  He says he wants to explore new territories in the animation world and that's a great thing and I can't wait to see what he does next.  He has inspired animation artists worldwide for years and will continue to do so.
I am taking this opportunity to show a few images that display his amazing drawing skills and an article about him from a Comics Scene magazine from the 90's where you can learn a bit more about him.

Below is a project of his that I found interesting.  In the early 90's Glen published some books that teaches parables from the Bible for children called Adam Raccoon. It's done in a very loose style like if he was doing a storyboard.

I have just found out about this artist and I was blown away by her talent, she's amazing and you have to check her out (If you not already did).
I got so inspired to draw after I had seen these pieces.  Her design sense is incredible.  I wished someone would make a short film in this style.
There are plenty more over at her blog.  Beautiful and inspiring.
