Milt Kahl Handling a Crowd Scene

These are a few scenes that Milt animated on the original The Rescuers that were eventually cut from the final film because of story changes. It is always painful when beautiful animation like this is cut but it happens sometimes. The amazing thing to learn from these shots is that Milt always approached any scene with gusto and gave always one hundred percent. He approached these scenes as if they were important main character moments and that's professionalism too. Marvel at these incredible drawings come to life by the genius Milt Kahl.

  2. I remember seeing these and some of the other unused keys from Andreas' s blog I think. So simple, so brilliant!! GAWD!!! It's so masterfully and gracefully handled! You're absolutely right about how he handled them. Any one else would have treated those scenes as throw-away. They are masterpieces!! Great post Sandro! Thanks! :)
